Initially funded through the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR) this project undertook an 18 month Indigenous Employment Program with real and practical outcomes for Indigenous job seekers. It undertook a holistic Indigenous skills and aspirations audit and employment placement program successfully placing over 200 job seekers into employment in the Surat Basin, Central Queensland and Bowen Basin regions.

Indigenous Workstars Queensland continues to assist Indigenous job seekers into long-term employment with a personalised, tailor-made approach to connecting Indigenous workers with some of Australia's largest employers.
