Queensland Reconciliation Awards

The 2015 Queensland Reconciliation Awards are set to be announced during reconciliation week, which is 27th May – 3rd June 2015.  The awards program recognises businesses, community organisations, educational institutions and initiatives that are advancing reconciliation in Queensland.
The awards play a major part each year in recognising the importance of reconciliation.  There are many ways the program evaluates the organisations and the contribution they make to reconciliation.  They could be building cross-cultural understanding through employment or training initiatives, education, partnerships or engaging with their local community.
The awards offer a total of $25,000 in prize money across the following categories:-
Business
Community
Education
Partnership
“Each year the projects and initiatives recognised through this program demonstrate to us the positive impact reconciliation has in local communities, and also the change it can inspire in others,” says Johnathan Thurston, League Legend and 2015 Reconciliation Awards Ambassador.
The JPC Group were finalists in 2013 and are proud to be part of a passionate group of businesses, partnerships and initiatives who are helping to close the gap.
